A 4 3/4 inch tallmug shaped light SUN COLOR AMETHYST antique SPRING NERVE TONICadvertising mug. You rarely see antique patent medicine advertising pieces such as this one. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold mug (BIM) with a hand formed top, dating it back to thelate 1800\'s.

Mug embossed: \"SIMPSON. SPRING / NERVE. TONIC\". Note there is a period after Simpson and Nerve, which make no sense grammatically speaking.
Condition: This glass mug is in PRISTINE SPARKLING CLEAN condition. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Please see pictures foroverall An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown mug (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a hand tooled-top, ca. late1800\'s.

This is a mug that we\'ve not seen before. Our guess is that there must of been a bottled product, ie. Simpson\'s Spring Nerve Tonic and when the bottled product was purchased in bulk or offered with coupon, a consumer received one of these mugs to dispense the beverage with. The best thing about this is theSUN COLORED AMETHYST tint that this glass has. With few exceptions, only clear glass from before 1914 will turn this sun colored amethyst. Not only does the amethyst color make it an attractive mug but it also authenticates it is being truly antique,RAREwith with the amethyst tint, check it out!
