I have to part with my Scheibe Alsbach figurine collection - please have a look at all my listings, I\'m happy to combine shipping.Scheibe Alsbach statue of Michel Ney.This porcelain figurine features Michel Ney, 1st Prince de la Moskowa, 1st Duke of Elchingen, who was a French military commander and Marshal of the Empire who fought in the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. Napoleon called him The Bravest Of The Brave.Highly detailed & beautifully painted in rich, vibrant colors with gilt details and modeled wearing uniform, he is standing on a square form base with gilt impressed name cornered by Imperial eagles.The base underside features an incised biography with birthplace and dated military battles in French, incised numbers, Scheibe Alsbach mark.Measures approx. 9.25\" tall x 2¾\" across base.There is a tiny mark on one leg that surely occurred in the manufacturing process...it\'s shown in my last picture. Otherwise in excellent condition & just beautiful.This figurine is a testament to the German precision and artistry for which Scheibe Alsbach porcelain is celebrated.
