- This sale is for a wonderful vintage/antique rosette iron in its original box.
- Made by Alfred Andresen & Co. between 1893 - 1913.
- Originally located in Minneapolis, Alfred was an entrepreneur who marketed household items and cooking utensils appealing to the Scandinavian immigrant population. He jobbed out castings of his patented Rosette, Wafer, and Heart-Shaped Waffle irons and other pieces to foundries including Griswold. He was not an actual manufacturer. He founded his company in 1893 and in 1913 was forced out of the company he founded and the name changed to the Western Importing Co.
- This vintage set has (1) handle and (2) iron molds - (1) flower shaped and (1) circle shaped.
- The carboard box is labeled \"Alfred Andresen & Co.\"
- Instructions are on the inside and patent and selling instructions on the back.
- The box is 10 12\" x 5 1/2\" wide x 3/4\" thick.
- This set would make a wonderful addition to any kitchen or antique collection.
