This charming piece and has been in my collection for more then 25 years. It is a reverse painting of the US Congressional Library, Washington DC. Measuring 7.5” W x 5.5” H. I believe that it dates to the early 1900's. There is some minor paint crackling. It’s also displayed in the original gold metal frame and has developed a nice patina with age.
