This is a very nice clock from one of my favorite 3 American makers rite up there with Seth Thomas of course and EN Welch but they all made some nice models even Sessions Ansonia started operations in Ansonia CT but then moved to Brooklyn to expand and find people who wanted to work (imagine that). I would think this to be in the 1880\'s timeframe. It is very much all original including the awesome dial pan which is the same they used for the very desirable crystal palace models. The other feature that truly makes this stand out and I tried to picture it well is the double side valances, front and rear on each side with the front on the door. I truly haven\'t seen that many times. Strike sounds nice and movement absolutely guaranteed to be proper movement and from a very good collection. I got a beautiful EN Welch with it which I also have listed two of the nicest parlors I\'ve ever had. I tried to price for good value but I had to pay for it too, this books very high and is rare model and this is a guaranteed runner. It measures about 23\" tall x 16\" wide so it\'s not huge but its a nice size clock. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn\'t miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I\'ve been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled. Your covered please no quick draws and preparing takes time if you want start to tracking package the afternoon you order maybe think about it. Thanks for taking a look!!!
