ROBESON SHUREDGE USA is the tang stamp. Pattern # 722376 on back tang. Made by the Robeson Cutlery Co, Rochester, New York, circa1910-1940. Letter opener with folding ink eraser blade, 9” closedoverall length. Milled or gimped brass liners, nickel silver pins. Strong snap on the eraser blade. The blade is tight with no wobble. Fiery mother of pearl handles have no cracks. The eraser blade is full; both the eraser blade and theletter opener blade have dark patina, staining, areas of light surface pitting.
