I have up for sale an usual antique signed BENSON\'S Blown Glass Prosthetic Eye. There is some number and letters printed on one side, please view my pics , it looks like R-R8 but I can not make out the last character . I am an antique dealer and I purchased this many years back , I have had it for probably 30 years. I am not an expert in this area so please ask all questions prior to purchase or offers.
When trying to do some research I found an old aphthalmoscope and it was called a Benson Type which may have a connection with this item.Arthur Henry Benson (1860-1912). He was a surgeon at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin. He worked there until he died in 1912.
If an item is received damaged , please contact me so that I can initiate a claim. You are required to help with the claim process if the damage occured during transit . I will not honor a claim unless you help with the process.

WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
