This postcard features a clock tower in an early 20th-century, winter cityscape. The exact location is not noted or confirmed, but the card was adjacent to a RPPC postcard of St. Peter\'s Church in Milford, CT, also in winter snow. The image has a unique sheen, especially on the darker parts like the tree branches in the left foreground and shows no printing dots under magnification.It’s an undivided back postcard, characteristic of postcards from 1901–1907.Interestingly, it appears there was glitter applied during production, which can still be subtly seen and felt.The edges of the photo have a soft, irregular border creating a framed appearance, a technique known as vignetting. These features suggest it could be a Real Photo Postcard (RPPC), also popular during the early 1900s. However, this has not been verified by an expert. Please review the photos carefully to appreciate the unique characteristics of this possibly RPPC postcard.
Condition:Consistent with age and storage. May have yellowing / tanning, crazing, creases, edge / corner dents and wear, stains / scuffs, and other wear. May have writing and ink bleed-through on front or back. May have glued matter, including postage stamp or old mounting material.
