\"Aroostook\" and a car number are visible in the background of the seven railroad workers posing for this photo. The scene is during winter with snow on the ground. Age is an estimate based on the mustaches and clothing and of course, the top hat! The Bangor - Aroostook Line was in operation from 1891 to 2003 and brought goods to the far northern County of Aroostook, Maine. The frame and photo have been cleaned up and ready to hang. Purchased from a local estate. No details were known by the previous owner. Nice railroad or Maine history display. Wood frame measure 12\"X10\" & photo is about 5 1/4\" X 3 3/4\". Acid free mat & new wire.
