Antique Pair of 19th Century French Bronze Louis XIV Four Light Candelabra:

For your consideration is an antique pair of French bronze four light Louis XIV style candelabrum. Dating to the 1860s, each candelabra rises approximately 17” in height from a stepped square footed base with elegant scroll detail. The arms are cast depicting dragons with scroll and foliate decoration supporting floral bobeche and candle cups with removable beaded milgrain drip cups. Topping the candelabra is a stylized floral and berry snuffer. Areas of darkened patina are visible, most notably deep within the crevices of the decorative casting, as well a mild oxidation to the underneath side of the removable drip cups (one of which is no longer removable). Otherwise, this is a solid pair in sound condition with no damages or imperfections that compromise their structure or utility. Wear is commensurate for age and history of honest use across a century and a half, so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing.
