This pair of antique Victorian Staffordshire Scottish figures are protrayed as drummers in a parade. Beautifully hand painted pottery of the 1840s-60s era, they are heavy with very small vent holes in the bottom. Flat backed with some texture. Black stripe on the bases. Usual wear of the pant on a piece of this age. No chips and no cracks. Man: 6 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep. Woman: 6 1/2' tall x 3" wide x 2" deep.
