From a friend's estate this is a rare pair of antique sculptures of whippets or greyhounds made by Jennings Brothers in the early 20th century. The sculptures are made of bronze and are signed by J.B. They are large, measuring 9.5 inches in height and length, and 5 inches in width, with a weight of 4 pounds. The sculptures feature an Italian style and an antique finish. They are part of the Animals collection and have a theme of dogs. They are marked "JB 2674". I have not attempted to clean them except for a light dusting. They have been on a shelf in a china cabinet for years.. This set would make a wonderful addition to any collection. The owner raised greyhounds for years and when she met her second husband he turned their Greyhound farm into a horse farm.. I will try to answer any questions you might have.
