Antique Pair Crown Devon England Blush Ware Peach Floral 6.5" Candle HoldersBeautiful early 20th century candle holders by Crown Devon, England. The finish is called blush ware peach. No marking on the bottom other than numbers.
Measures 6 1/2" tall, the base is 3 7/8" in diameter and together the pair weighs 14.4 ounces.
In good antique condition, there are no chips, however there is a large amount of of crazing throughout. There is also wear of the gilt on the edges, from age and use. A tiny manufacturer's defect in the very center on one, straight down from the floral, down by the edge. At first I thought it was an old, tiny piece of harden wax, but I'm afraid to try too hard to chip it off. The floral motif on both holders are in quite good condition.
