Antique Glass Oil Lamp Font With Side Fill Cap. Made by and marked on bottom- H R & Co. In very good condition, with some wear from use & age. No cracks or chips in the glass, fill cap screws off, & collar in very good condition. There are “air bubbles” within the glass in a couple of places (see photos) but do not interfere with the intended use of the lamp.

UNIQUE Patented design - DOUBLE WICKS. Knobs do turn- a bit stiff but believe it is due to thick wicks.

The lamp is made of brass and glass, and is an original piece from the 1850-1899 time period, manufactured in the United States. It is a kerosene or oil hanging library lamp or bracket lamp (wall sconce) font.

The lamp is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts, and will make a great addition to any collection.
