This beautiful Nipponchocolate set includes the chocolate pot with its lid, 4 cups, and sixsaucers. The set is white with a raised goldencrusted oriental decoration. Thechocolate pot is marked Nagoya Shofu Nippon Made in Japan. The saucers are also marked. The set does have a little damage. One of the cups has a tiny chip which has ledto a hairline and the chocolate pot lid has a chip leading to a hairline andlooks as though it has been repaired.None of this shows when the set is displayed. I am including photos of the damage so please use them to help with your decision. Nippon means that it dates this set to prior to 1921.
