Antique Nepalese Kukri - Huge 19th Cen Sirupate Village Khukuri 17\" Blade:

Antique Nepalese tribal or "village" kukri with huge 17" blade. Beautiful weapon complete with scabbard, chakmak & karda, and flint/tinder pouch. Enclosed cho/kaudi and engraving alongsides of long, slender, very sharp blade. Flared wooden handle with carvings along grip rings. Grip has split in wood along one side. Blade has gray patina and fine edge. Kukri is 23" overall and weighs 1 lb 11 ounces. Blade is rock solid in hilt and very sharp. Scabbard in good condition split in leather towards bottom.
