Fantastic Mintons large plate or charger. Super rare pattern #G7601. It’s impossible to find any examples in this pattern. It’s exceedingly beautiful with turquoise and gold gilt border and floral swags and wreaths. Plate is in great condition with just some minor gilt loss on edges. It was imported by Gilam Collamore & Co. of NYC. This firm was a direct competitor of Tiffany & Co. & Black Star & Frost. This plates mark states his stores address as being on New York Cities Fifth Ave. He was at the 5th Avenue address from 1890-1920 according to wiki. That gives us a nice date range for the production of this plate. It’s either late Victorian or about Edwardian. If I had to guess I’d say about 1910 would be right but that’s an educated guess. The plate is 11” across which puts it in charger dimensions. It’s fresh out of a Coastal MA estate. Shipping is ASAP! Thanks
