Antique Minton Green Cockatrice Hand Painted 3 Pc Teacup Set.
This lovely 3 piece set consists of a cup, saucer and tea/dessert plate from Minton, England, founded in 1793. This is a bone china tea setting from the late 1800s. This series has a pattern called "cockatrice" with exotic patterns and phoenix-like birds. The highly skilled hand painting of the white background of the bone china with green as the main color makes this three piece set exquisite. All three pieces are in very fine antique condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The photos are part of, and provide the best description.
