Antique Miniature Black Cat Cast Bronze Glass Eyes Match Safe Holder Strike:

Measures approximately3 1/2 inches tall. Weighs approximately10 ounces. Beautiful antique miniature bronze match safe / striker shaped like a cat. Figure has a very dark brown to near black colored original finish and patina. Small bits of a goldtone metal is evident, primarily on surface edges. Cat’s head tilts open and has a small cavity that can fit a standard wooden match stick within. The cat is attached to its base with an antique square nut. Glass eyes are deeply set and can be seen from inside the cat's head. Light surface wear, dust in crevasses, and match strike marks as seen in pictures.
