Here’s an excellent example of a single blade knife made by the Miller Brother Cutlery Company of Meriden, CT circa early 1900’s. This antique single blade folding knife is in very good condition for its age and prior use. Its tang is stamped “Miller Bros Cut Co MERIDEN”. Its sharp edged blade measures 3¾” long. The screwed down wood handle measures 5¼”. Together the overall length of the knife measures 9”. This measurement doesn’t include its original lanyard ring firmly affixed to the knife. There are no chips or cracks in the handle designed with two screws on either side. The blade locks ups tight with no side to side movement with excellent snap in its operation (tight as a drum). The blade’s edge is sharp which appears to have been sharpen during its lifetime from use. The knife has not been cleaned or polished and reflects its antique patina as pictured.
