Antique Meissen Porcelain Hand Painted Trinket Box Jewelry Crossed Swords Signed

A beautiful Victorian era German porcelain trinket box, made by Meissen. The box has been finely hand painted with a a lovely rural scene of a lady with her dog/sheep and lots of gold gilding. The box has gilt brass/bronze hardware, all in lovely condition. The box has a underglaze blue crossed swords mark on the bottom.

A stunning and unique piece with a very lovely shaped and unusual design around the corners, which have been beautifully highlighted with gold.

It was probably made in the early 1800s.

Length: about 2 1/2 inch or 6.3 cm

Height: about 1 1/4 inch or 3.2 cm

Width: about 2 inch or 5 cm

Condition:Great antique condition, no chips, cracks or restores, some very light patina from age/use to the brass/bronze, hinges in working order, hand painted details in wonderful condition and the gilding is in great condition as well, see the photos.
