Absolutely beautiful antique hand-painted Meissen porcelain plate. First half of 18th century. Gorgeous wood-cut flower decoration. Very typical for the early Meissen pieces. There are even two tiny flowers on the back of the plate painted typically to hide some porcelain mass imperfections. Such plates used to be an ultimate luxury and thus were painted by highly professional artists. The plate is a unique piece of art and history.

Early crossed swords mark and impressed number on the back. Ozier pattern border. Wood cut flowers style decoration.

Condition: several chips on the front and back rims of the plate. Gold loss and paint loss on multiple spots. A long hairline crack barely visible but present on both sides of the plate. No repairs. Some manufacturing inclusions in the porcelain mass. Uneven horizontal line from the manufacturing process. See pictures for more details. More pictures can be provided upon request.

Dating of the plate is an individual opinion and is based on the general appearance, uneven horizontal line typical for the manufacturing process of the early porcelain wares (see photos), decoration style, and the character of the crossed sword marks.
