Important Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) museum quality, \"1000 faces\" with intricate gilding, unusual underside portrait and detailed decorations depicting people, perhaps geishas or intellectuals, interacting in various poses with fine gold detailing throughout.  Signed by a very skilled artist.
