Antique Mason\'s Improved Pint Jar Blue Glass/Zinc Lid Registered May 23 1871. Jar is about 5-7/8\" tall with lid, 3-1/4\" wide at the base and 2-1/2\" wide at the top. The mouth opening is only 1-3/4\" wide. Letters are embossed on the side and bottom. The bottom reads \"C 347\". The color is a very pale blue.
Rim feels a little rough around the edge with some flea bites. Outer rim has an air bubble on the edge that is broke out. Glass lid also has some rough spots and a couple of flea bites. Jar has various air bubbles and imperfections, but no significant cracks that I can see. The zinc screw band is discolored and has some light corrosion. Lid and jar could use a little more cleaning.
