Traditional classic item in very good condition. no holes, stains etc. There is some age yellowing along the edges. My Norwegian mother in law taught me to boil nice pieces of embroidery on the stove and pat down with a wooden spoon. \"Handdukar\" is dialect for hand cloth.Kitchen towels are hung to dry on a metal armed piece screwed to the wall. The decorative towel cover like this is threaded on one of the rods to cover the others you have used. The edges at the top of this decorative towel need a few stitches where they have been put on a rod. You can also hang it on the stove handle etc.
