A magnificently simple and elegant set of Irish damask linens, purchased in New York in the 1920s by a lady born in the 19thCentury and beautifully stored all these years.The monograms are a work of art.There are two 5” diameter monograms on the tablecloth and smaller ones on the enormous napkins.It has a subtle striped damask design, reminiscent of the New York Astors in the 1920s.All the hems are hand sewn.

The condition is excellent.Hand laundered and pressed.The napkins are not all exactly the same white.
