Gorgeous “Cabbage Rose” design by German painter, C. Wilms. 3 roses and leaves with embossed good outer edge design. This is a large 11-3/4” round diameter porcelain plate. This is an unbranded and unmarked plate from the early 1900’s. C. Wilms fruit and floral designs were commonly used in decorative dinnerware at this time, frequently in unmarked production by Unger & Schlide of Germany/Three Crown China. In very good condition with beautiful, vivid colors! There are no chips, cracks or crazing; however, the gold paint is worn along about 1/3 of the plate. It does have a hole in the base for wiring to hang the plate.
