Up for sale, I have an extremely rare Lady Esther powder compact, made in Chicago Illinois. The compact is 1.5” in diameter and has heavy patina on it in bronze color. The compact is made of brass and show representation of a lady standing in the background wearing a costume of an early period with a broad flaring skirt. Before her, kneeling, are two girl pages supporting a pillow on which is a box of powder and a powder puff and below the figures are the words „ Lady Esther”. The compact was made about 1922. This is about 97 years old compact that is in decent condition accordingly to its age. There are some issues with the glass. The glass mirror is OK, but the mirror is flaking from underneath. The compact is in condition as it was found. It opens and closes well. This is a history compact! Please ask questions prior to offerding/purchasing, since this compact is sold “ AS IS”.
