Wow, you rarely see lamps like this anymore! Most are broken or haven\'t withstood the 150 +/- years without some serious damage. This lamp is in great shape for it\'s age. No cracks and paint still has it\'s luster. The lamp is as I bought it, an estate find and I have not attempted to polish or restore it although, it\'s needs very little except a good cleaning.
The lamp is huge, over 2 feet tall and will certainly be the conversation piece in any room. The top and bottom have bulbs and light up. This lamp ran on kerosene at one point but was rewired for electrical use. It\'s tall, delicate and heavy and will be a challenge to ship but I will pack it carefully or have it professionally packed and insure it as well. It may ship without the bulbs. This is a collector piece and would be the highlight of your collection.
