Up for sale is a piece of early advertising from the John Hauck Brewing Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio dating to the early 1900s, firmly pre-Prohibition. Itis a clear glass tiny tumbler / shot glass advertising the brewery. It is acid etched with the use of a stencil to decorate it with the company\'s logo with impressive detail, seemingly King Gambrinus lounging atop a globe, toasting a foamy beer mug in the air, with a wheat sheaf and wheat stalks around. It\'s a very thin and lightweight glass. It is a bit over 3 1/2\" tall and 2 1/8\" in diameter at the base.
The glass is in essentially perfect condition with quite a crisp stencil and minimal wear, just a few tiny scratches. It is a remarkable survivor when you feel how fragile it is in your hand!
