This antique inlaid wood box is perfect for jewels, small treasures or on a desk for thumb drives and such. It is made of hard wood and mahogany and the corners are nicely mitered. The inside is also wood and has a loose velvet cushion in the bottom. The condition of the box is very good, there are a few blemishes to the wood grain, part of the wood and some very faint use marks. The hinge works well and shows good craftsmanship with the edges beveled to aid opening the box.Measurements are: 5 1/2\" by 5 1/2\" and 2 5/8\" tall.
