Great Old War Axe ,Blacksmith made about 1850 with spike came from a Indian war collection. This has a spike a little harder to find.Size is 14 1/2 long overall with the total size of the axe a big 9 3/4 from back to tip of blade. One like it appears in Hothems book 123-125 leather wrap to hang it with at the Trading post.One of many we own. Old oak handle May be original very well balance great weight.This Axe Was Blacksmith made possibly Hudson Bay traders then down to the American Indians. It has been examined by several experts and comes with a 14 day return privilege just pay shipping. This axe has been in other collections before it came to me.
