Antique Imperial Russian Brass Tea Caddy With Imperial Russian Double Eagle.:

   Offering for sale charming brass tea caddy from the Imperial Romanov era. The box has rectangular shape  and is set on a four brass  legs . The hinged lid is decorated with an ornately detailed appliqué of the imperial Romanov double-headed eagle. The interior is tin-lined . The lid can be locked with a small padlock—a reminder that tea was once expensive .

Hinges and hasp function perfectly. The box is in very good vintage condition. No dents, ding, nicks. Some minor scratches are due to the  age.

Origin : Russia, 1890.
