Antique Icy-Hot FlaskCirca 1915 vintage (see attached Ad I found on showing #740 for $4.50 in 1915)Very nice Vacuum Flask Thermos-like Bottle made by the Icy-Hot Bottle Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
It is marked No. 740 on bottom and latest patent listed is June 1,1909.
The Icy-Hot Bottle Company was an early and much smaller competitor of the American Thermos Bottle Company and the two companies merged in 1925.
The flask is 13 1/2\" tall and the diameter at the bottom is 3 7/8\" The case is 15 1/4\" tall and the diameter at the bottom is 4 1/4\"
The cork stopper has a plunger at the top that when pushed down the sides of stopper expand. When the cap is screwed down it pushed the plunger down to hold in place.
The inside bottle is in nice condition as well.
