Lot of (2) pieces. Both authentic antique wooden handle Gilchrest #31 scoops from an ice cream parlor. The smaller scoop is a #24 size scoop and 2” across. Handle action springs back. Wear to brass finish consistent with age and wear.The larger scoop is a #16 size scoop and brass is VG and is almost entirely intact. This scoop mechanism moves and can scoop out ice cream. It retracts half way automatically and thumb must be used on lever to manually bring it back to starting position. The brass material adds a touch of nostalgia to any collection. These scoops are perfect for collectors of vintage kitchen tools and gadgets, or for those who appreciate a unique and functional piece in their home. The wooden handles are in VG condition without chips or cracks.
