This listing is for a very unique cast metal statue of cast metal. It is quite heavy, and though I\'m not sure of the material it responds to a magnet, so my guess is cast iron. As you will see from the photos, it has a lovely patina, in part due to what I\'m told is the verdigris. This sculpture came from the estate of a serious collector who had many elephant figurines. I have not been able to find another one like it. The bottom of one foot is marked \"Japan.\"
Measurements: 7.5\" tall, 5\" long, weighs just over 5 pounds.
Condition: Consistent with age. As shown in photos, it is old and patinated. However, it remains quite solid and sturdy. Please view all the photos and send me any questions.
