Item up for sale is an incredible antique postcard set with illustration artwork by Harrison Fisher titled \"Life\'s Eventful Days\" made sometime around 1913. This set is often encountered with a title of \"Greatest Days in A Woman\'s Life\" and other variations of that sort. Set was framed and matted by the publisher (Reinthal & Newman) and sold in department and art stores of the day. Postcard set starts with the man proposing marriage to the woman and followed by her picking out the wedding dress, the wedding itself, the honeymoon, first evening in a new home and the birth of their first child. Postcards show some browning around some edges from drying of the epoxy backing. Original back matting is present showing patina consistent with age with some spots of soiling. Underside of the glass shows some soiling and could use a cleaning . Glass shows no chips, cracks or breaks. Wood framing shows patina, soiling and old paint residue with surface showing some finish wear and loss throughout with wood showing wear around edges and corners. Item as a whole could use a detail cleaning. Backing shows some looseness with tape across the upper edge. Entire display measures 8-5/8\" top to bottom by 25-3/4\" wide by 0-3/4\" in depth.
