An antique signed guard dog sculpture/figure made of bronze patinated spelter ( zink alloy).
Mastiff type dog garding its owners property behind a wooden fence and standing with his front legs on a wash tub.
The figure is signed C Valton ( Charles Valton )ca 1900.Charles Valton(26 January 1851, inPau– 21 May 1918, inChinon) was a French animalsculptor
The figure is in good antique condition, some slight dents arround the base edge.
Size approx: 7.5\" (19cm) tall
