I am selling an exquistejardiniere. The jardiniere is quite heavy, giving it a solid feel.Initially, I believed that the jardiniere was silverplated, but I have come to believe that it is actually nickelplated. The piece holds a shine nicely and does not tarnish as quickly as silverplate. I have not had it tested so I cannot say with absolute certainty what the plating is. The jardiniere does not have a liner, but it functions beautifully. For a centerpiece, I have used it with flowering plants in small containers and tucked a cloth napkin around them to hide the containers. The dimensions are 18\" x 5.5\" x 6\". I see no dents or defects. There is no maker\'s mark to identify the manufacturer or the country of origin, but the style is French. Please feel free to ask questions.
