Antique, likely sitzendorf, art nouveau era miniature figurine, of a man with french hat Napoleon style, by a fence, encrusted in tiny blue forget me not flowers..very old.. technically termed a figural group because separate pieces are ultimately joined for a more lacey looking product...great for 1:12 dollhouse smaller end, like daintier vienna 4.5\" people, carl thieme ditto, head size ala hoffman & galluba..delicate.. .circa 1860s. ..smaller size, also very rare..for size see ruler. His upper hand has had good restoration. the diff between sitzendorf and hoffman galluba is that sitzendorf molded hands .while H&G sculpted fingers &H&G\'s signature painters did shy, pointy faces looking down...otherwise hard to tell maker apart. sitzendorf forgetmenot flowers are what later Elfinware nyc imports, were having copied abroad in the 50s.
