Antique German Hand Colored and Signed Memory of Baptism 1821Antique German Hand Colored and Signed Memory of Baptism 1821, inscribed and dated in GermanThis appears to be an antique, circa 1821, memory of a baptism that is printed, then hand-colored. The central circle depicts a family and priests baptizing a baby at a church altar, it is very brightly colored. There is writing all around it and then there is writing at the base in oxidized ink, about the baptism of a baby girl in 1821, I think the name is Elizabeth.
Measurements:8 x 6 1/2 inches
Condition:Good condition. Has fold marks, minor stains, and some fading to paper from previous frame. Colors in central image are very fresh. Please see photos.
