This antique German fairing depicts a charming pink pig and green Boston Baked Beans pot, standing at 4 inches tall with a width of 4.5 inches. The adorable figurine is made of porcelain and comes from Germany. It's an original piece with a lovely finish. Fairings were given out to fair goers as a prize to be won or just as a gift during the 1890s to about 1910. There are 4 dark spots under the glaze on the pig and he is missing part of his left ear, however the rest of him is in great shape for his age! This is perfect for collectors of decorative items and farm animal lovers. The pig is holding a pot of Boston Baked Beans, making it an ideal matchstick or toothpick holder. It's not signed but there is a 'Made In Germany' stamp on the bottom. This sculpture is a unique addition to any collection and will make a great conversation starter.
