Offered for sale is an Antique and UNUSUAL composition paper mache TURKEY CANDY CONTAINER.

Tom Turkey has the standard realistic turkey body that was molded to accept a great comical turkey head on a spring so that he is a nodder / bobblehead ! Not only that, but he is anthropomorphic: wearing a green soldier style hat and a crepe paper neck feathers that sort of cover the spring that makes the head nod.

He has a great face with a long waddle hangs below his beak, and one eye is WINKING at you while the other is full open. SO MUCH CHARACTER!

Measures 5 inches tall to top of the hat and 3 1/4 inches deep by 3 1/2 inches wide. Has original cardboard plug in base that is stamped MADE IN WEST GERMANY US ZONE. Very nice paint overall, but does show signs of age. Please see the pictures. There is some paint loss and a couple small chips in the paper mache. Considering age--- it\'s great and will display beautifully.
