Very nice and rare piece.
This elephant with girl is made in Germany. It is made from a bisque porcelain and attributed to Carl Schneider. Originally, it would have come in a set of two. The other being an elephant with water boy.
Overall in nice condition for age. It does have a few minor cracks noted in the water pitcher held by the girl and on the rear lower left leg of the elephant. Both cracks pointed out in the pictures. Also there is a nick on the side right shoulder of the elephant as seen in the pictures. There may also be minor scratches and scuffs present and loss of paint. Please see attached pictures for overall condition and measurements
