Antique German Selenus bone chess set in the Spindle design circa 1850. One side stained black and the other side left natural. The pieces turned and carved with a polished finish. A complete set (32) in good condition, comes with a period wood box and chessboard. King height is 2.75 inches, pieces come with antique mahogany box (shows use with rough interior). Includes a period ebony & fruitwood folding chessboard (16x12).
