A tooled leather document box with brass carrying handle and having its original paper lining and manufacturers label intact, early 19th century. It is quite rare to find most early boxes with their original label. It is in good to fair condition for age with a lovely patina to the leather! There are some separations/losses to leather, toning, etc. Box is sturdy and closes and opens with ease. Please see all photos for condition.
