Lovely Gaudy Welsh bone china cup and saucer decorated with the Swansea Cottage or Tulip pattern.
Second half 19thC Staffordshire England.
Measure: Saucer - 3 3/8” wide by about 1.25” deep Cup - 3.75” across rims by 2”H or 2.25” (top of handle)
Condition: AS IS due to small hairline on cup. - Yellow discoloration on the cup and saucer (notable on reverse side. - Crazing on both cup and saucer. - Lines on the saucer, underside, but not visible on the front so must be just lines in the glaze. - Wear to decorations and enamels, wear and blemishes on handle, rims and foot. - Use related marks and scratches. - Wear on feet. - Production related blemishes and imperfections. - Minor roughness along the rims.
