Own a BEAUTIFULLYexecuted French VICTORIAN style clock case signed PH MOURNEY, 8-daywind two train solid brass plate suspension spring unsigned movement insertedinto a gilded spelter metal case; clock adorned with gilded Christian religiousreferences including a seated winged angel playing a lute seated on top of anelaborately decorated clock case base; located along the angel is a gildedbarrel, containing the clock movement, seated upon a raised base & toppedwith religious icons; clock case sits upon 2 front elaborately designed gilded feetwhile the rear feet are flush with the rear clock case face and unadorned; allgilded decorations assuming Victorian influences.

High qualityenameled 3’ diameter faceplate contains Roman numerals (numerous crack linesfound in the enamel faceplate); a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centeredabove numerals; concealed adjustable weight pendulum; no front door designed tothis clock case; the backside contains a brass-colored rear door hinged at itsbottom which has a friction fit; the nickel bell resonates beautifully withinthe metal barrel clock case; both movement & bell assemblies are mountedsecurely to case; previous repairs to the clock case, gilding loss throughout,& missing a small portion of the right-side lower scroll decoration ismissing. Chiming correctly & running fast but on time.

I am anantique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & hasbeen running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to thisoffering. Clock set-up to establish thecorrect “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished throughplacement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in theclock case). Additionally, temperature& humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind a clock. Lastly,I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer ofthese clocks.

Allshipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut& then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding foradded protection, taped shut on all sides.
