Lovely Late 19th century fabric valance.Fabulous large scale stylized floral print in beautiful bold colors!The floral motif was so beautifully drawn and printed with such wonderful detail and depth. Really so very pretty!Light creamy ground with almost a yellow hint. So many wonderful colors in the floral motif from bright blue, raspberry reds, pinks, gold, greens +++Wonderful home loomed linen tape across top. Charmingly timeworn wool trim. With some time and care it could be pressed to look less shabby, you could also easily remove but I think it adds to the charm!Wonderful soft lightly textured medium to heavy upholstery weight cotton. Wonderful to us as Drape / curtain or lovely fabric for many creative home decor or cart projects.
Condition: good for age and use. A number of small pinhead sized holes that can be seen when light is behind. You could put a have lining if you choose to remedy that look. A few small spots here and there. see last three photos for examples. Carefully washed and ready to use. Please see photos and use zoom for additional detail .Measuring approximately: . 81" across top center panel about 31" wide with 24" drop. two side pieces are about 25" each and 24' on outside edges.I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should beexpected.The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
