Own a BEAUTIFULLYexecuted French Neo-ClassicalPortico and Brass Barrel clock signed F&C 8-day windtwo train suspension spring movement inserted into a heavily veined light &dark pink marble portico clock with gilded brass barrel case supported by 4round marble columns; clock adorned with gilded wreaths & festooned drapery;the 4 marble columns have gilded brass column bases & column capitals; agilded brass plateau with decorative edging bi-sects the brass barrel toppedwith 4 gilded urns; marble clock case sits upon 4 round gilded brass feet;topped with square marble pedestal upon which sits a French flower vase; allgilded decorations assuming Neo-Classical influences.

High qualityenameled 3 ¼” diameter faceplate contains Arabic numerals accented with paintedlaurel wreaths; a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centered above numerals; adjustablegilded weight pendulum decorated with French flower motif; clock face isprotected with hinged gilded brass door frame fitted with a clear heavily beveledconvex glass which snaps shut against the gilded bronze clock surround; thebackside contains a second hinged gilded brass door with pierced design setinto a gilded door frame as a friction fit; the nickel bell resonatesbeautifully within the brass barrel clock case; both movement & bellassemblies are mounted securely to case.Chiming correctly & running on time.

I am anantique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & hasbeen running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to thisoffering. Clock set-up to establish thecorrect “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished throughplacement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in theclock case). Additionally, temperature& humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind a clock. Lastly,I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer ofthese clocks.

Allshipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut; ifweight & size are such, then this box is placed into second box (as may benecessary) filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides.
